MJO Legal has over 32 years experience in personal injury law. We are highly regarded and respected within the legal community and have experience with a broad range of claims.
Where possible and appropriate, we will pursue alternative dispute resolution in an attempt to resolve your claim. However where a claim cannot be settled to your benefit we will vigorously litigate to maximise your entitlements.
The legislation governing this area of compensation has strict time constraints. If you believe you are entitled to compensation, we recommend you contact us urgently to discuss your prospects of success.
Injuries that occur on public property are known as Public Liability Claims, and are covered under Public Liability Insurance. This area of law is designed to provide compensation to individuals who are injured in a public place, at a home, or on a sporting field.
The owner or occupier of premises has a duty to take reasonable care to ensure that their property is safe to all persons entering their property. In order to recover compensation a claimant must establish that the owner or occupier has breached this duty of care.
Motor vehicle accident claims cover injuries sustained in motor driven transportation, including cars, motorbikes, buses, and trains. If you have been injured in this type of accident, you may be entitled to compensation.
In order to establish your entitlement to compensation, we must be able to show that the accident was wholly or partly caused by the fault of another. Claims will be made upon the third-party insurer of the driver who is at fault. If the other driver has no insurance, you are still able to make a claim.
Where you are injured as a passenger in a motor vehicle, you may have a claim against the driver of your car, or the other driver or both.
